The rangers have no choice but to leave the 1770's to return to their time to stop the Wizard and the Aqua Rangers. Susie apprears and informs the rangers of what is goning on back in their time. Susie uses the Wizard's wand to travel back in time to where the rangers are at. Afterwards, Telexa reveals what must be done to free the Rangers. The Wizard and the Aqua Ranger corner her, but Susie tricks them into revealing the whereabouts of the Rangers. The White Tigerzord is no match for the Pterazord while The White Ranger is in such a state. Susie is weakened due to the existence of her clone and can barely function. The Pterazord is reawakened for the first time since white ranger Susie lost her Aqua Ranger powers, and is under the evil influence of the Wizard. The Rangers are horrified at not being able to use their powers and are forced to flee.

The Wizard shows up and casts a spell on some rats, making them human-sized and unleashing them upon Riverside. Jasmine falls head-over-heads with Micah.

Back in late 18th century Riverside, the rest of the Rangers are aided by a young man named Micah, who helps them escape. He orders the Aqua Ranger to bring back the Pterazord to destroy Riverside. The Aqua and White rangers engage in battle and are perfectly matched until the Wizard intervenes and knocks the White Ranger out. Susie is in total shock when she comes face to face with the evil Green Ranger, the person she used to be. Meanwhile, Sue tricks the other Rangers into meeting with her and the Wizard sends them back in time to late 18th century Angel Grove, and the Rangers find themselves trapped, completely powerless. Susie feels ill after the spell was cast on her during battle and goes home to rest. The Wizard Sends Putties who succeed and from that small lock the Aqua Ranger is reborn, unbeknownst to the Rangers. The Wizard casts a spell on the Chandler twins to obtain a lock of hair from him but they fail. There's just one thing that stands in their way.the White Ranger.

The kids ponder a history assignment: what period of time would they have liked to have lived in? Meanwhile, Vita summons the Wizard of Deception to send the Rangers back in time. Vita seeks help from the Wizard of Deception, who devises a plan to accomplish that - create another Susie that would serve their evil purposes, due to Susie, who would never go back to Vita's doing. Meanwhile, Lord Morticia has a pondering of his own - life without the White Ranger. Given a history assignment in Miss Appleby's class to ponder what time period they would have lived in if they could, the rangers discuss with each other their individual choices.
